Locke and Demosthenes

John Locke was an English philosopher and physician who was thought to be one of the most influential of Enlightment thinkers. He is very important to the social contract theory. Locke created many theories such as On Price Theory and Political Theory.

Demosthenes was a Greek statesman and orator of Ancient Athens. He was very influential within Greece and said controversial things such as the Greece government being corrupt.

Locke and Demosthenes relate to Peter and Valentine because they are the ones who created them for Peter's purpose of controlling the world. Valentine writes everything that Demosthenes says although she does not believe in the way that Demosthenes supposedly sees the world. Peter write for Locke but agrees with Locke. This gives an irony about Locke and Demosthenes relationship with Peter and Valentine.

Peter and Valentine try to become influential people within the nets so Peter can control the world. They argue about political and world problems and talk in a key interest about the Russians and there movement from the war. Peter hopes that he can become powerful through Locke and Demosthenes but is still too young for anyone too take him seriously about how he created these two online figures.

Fear plays a major role in how successful Peter and Valentine are because of many reasons. If Peter and Valentine are able to say things on the nets which may make some people to be scared about what is happening with the Russians and the war that may make people listen more closely to Locke and Demosthenes which would give them reputation. Peter likes to control people through fear and he could be very successful at it not only in person but through Locke. Although Valentine is not the type of person to use fear to become controlling or successful she writes these sort of ideas and feelings through Demosthenes on the nets. This in time could make people listen to her ideas and thoughts making her have a better reputation and becoming more successful.
