Inserting Yourself In A Speech- 'Any Given Sunday'

Q1. Al Pacino's character talks about himself in his speech by telling all of the mistakes he made in life.

Q2. The effect that this has on the speech is meaningful. 'I made every wrong choice a middle age man could make'. This quote shows that Al Pacino's character is trying to stop his team from making the same mistakes in life that he did but 'you only learn that when you start losing stuff" and then he comes back to say 'You find out that life is just a game of inches' which brings Al Pacino's character back to the point that the game can be won or lost by inches. This influences the team into fighting for every single inch not only in the game but in life.
